Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for assisting in the recruitment of new employees, including the preparation of job postings, offer letters, and onboarding documentation
Assist the Payroll Department with benefits administration and the accuracy of employee absences
Responsible for day-to-day office administration, including maintaining office supplies, coordinating training, planning staff events, and assisting management where necessary
Assist with preparing and scanning bank deposits, and ensuring customer payments are accurately recorded and reconciled
Assist with taking customer credit card payments over the phone as needed
Responsible for ensuring compliance requirements are met and kept up-to-date
Responsible for filing and maintaining internal documents as required
Assist in providing back-up on phones as needed
Assist in other areas of the business as needed
Requirements:
High school graduate or G.E.D equivalent
1-3 years of Office Administration experience
Must possess a valid driver’s license and have access to reliable transportation
Assets:
Experience with recruiting and onboarding new employees
Experience working with multiple companies and intercompany transactions
Experience using ESC software, or experience with an ERP software system
Experience working with multiple departments
WHMIS & First Aid

Strong oral and written communication
Ability to seek out relevant information
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Excel

Hours of Work:
8-hour shifts; 8:00 to 17:00 with ½ hour unpaid lunch (plus two unpaid 15-minute breaks)
